There is of course the usual food and drink on sale at Stade de la Beaujoire – however while you are in Brittany, you have to try the local speciality – the ‘galette-saucisse’. It is seen in the local area as being the quintessential terrace food – and the only thing you should be eating on game day. It is a fried pork sausage, wrapped in a thin buckwheat crepe and goes deliciously with a cup of apple cider!

The stadium has its own restaurant, but unfortunately, it is not opened on match days as it is intended for business matters. There are little stands and shops inside the stadium where you can get traditional game snacks and drinks, such as beer, sandwiches and croissants. Prices are average and service is good.
