The stadium was groundbreaking at the time it was built, and although stadiums have come a long way since then, it really isn’t a bad stadium to watch the game in. The stands are relatively new and as such the leg space and comfort levels are fairly good! There are no pillars to be found so all the seats have excellent sight lines. However, the wavey design of the roof does mean that if it rains – you might get wet!

Prices at the stadium do fluctuate dependent on the opposition, though you will be looking at a cost between €20-50. As always the cheaper seats are to be found on either end of the stadium behind the goal. The more expensive seats are in the East and West stands, especially on half way.

Look to the East stand if you want a family friendly experience – although sometimes the atmosphere here does leave something to be desired.

In Stade de la Beaujoire you will find two kinds of seats. The first ones are the traditional plastic seats that you can find on most stadiums and everybody expects. The second ones are seats without backrest. Those are not super comfortable and they make it harder to enjoy the match. They are located in Loire tribune and Erdre tribune, so stay away if comfort means a lot to you. If you are more energetic and enjoy standing up a lot during the game—these seats are made for you as they still offer nice view.
