Things to check out around Mercedes-Benz Superdome?

Apparently the locals will tailgate at Washington Square before a Saints game. I haven’t experienced it first hand, but I was told that the locals pack in with their cars and BBQs to throw a neighbourhood party to support the team together. It’s not walking distance to the Superdome (probably 30 minutes by foot), but it could be worth checking out.

There is the French Quarter, Burbon Street, a plethora of fabulous resturants, paddleboat rides, swamp, ghosts, cemetery and vampire tours, the possibilities of great fun are endless!

Try to go during Mardi gras so you can experience all that New Orleans has to offer. The French Quarter, Burbon street, and cemeteries are fun things to visit. There is also lots of cool southern houses and the gulf of Mexico for fishing.
