Deepdale Tickets

Sir Tom Finney Way, Preston PR1 6RU, United Kingdom

Deepdale is the proud and longstanding home of Preston North End and its 23,000 live supporters. The stadium has stood for nearly 150 years and witnessed the entire evolution of The Beautiful Game in its time. From 1995 to 2008, all four stands have been revamped, a huge TV screen has been thrown in and it is today, by all accounts, a cracking stadium. It’s not the biggest of course, but for a middling Championship side, it’s perfect. The fans fill it out, always looking for a good time and a thrilling game: if you can go, you should.

Deepdale stadium may not be the best stadium in the world to visit – it may not beat out the Nou Camp or Old Trafford – but it does have its place in history as it holds the privileged title of being the oldest professional footballing site in the world. The present stadium was built in 1878, and whilst there have been renovations – it does feel like an older ground. The food is average at best, and whilst ticket prices are decent, for a team languishing at the bottom of the championship – they should be. It does have the Deepdale experience – creating a great atmosphere.
