No matter where you are in the world you are bound to find an Irish Pub of some sort- they are always friendly and serve up some fan favourites when it comes to drinks and food! Chemnitz is no different with both City Pub Chemnitz and Larry’s Irish Pub being prime examples of this!
If you want something stronger or fruitier than a pint – Chemnitz actually has some great bars that serve up some fun cocktails! Marron Bar and Buschfunk are just minutes’ walk from the city centre and are great paces to spend the night!

The beer flows freely during events at the Sachsenring so there really isn’t much need to leave the area, but if you would like something different, then Hohenstein has plenty of pubs and beer gardens to visit. The local beer is excellent, so good that it formed one of the few exports during the GDR era – Radeberger, Freiburger and Wernesgrüner are all from this part of the world.

A great place for a very good and relaxing glass of wine after a stressful day at the Sachsenring is the “Weinschänke Lindner”. It is a pub within a family owned guest house. They serve very good and exquisit wines at okay prices. Other very laid back places to go are the so-called “Musikcafe” and a pub called “Flipp-out”. All venues are about 1.5km from the race track.
