Best Bars near Simonds Stadium?

Currently under construction, Club Cats is located right at the ground and is a great place to soak up some pre or post match atmosphere with Cats fans. Not too far away is one of Geelong’s original gastro pubs called the Sawyers Arms Tavern on Noble Street, Newtown. The bar area has a great range of draught beers, with guest beers making appearances from time to time. The food is simple, with an air of sophistication about it. Top dish would have to be the Crispy fired half duck with Asian Salad….yum!
