Best Food and Drink at Mercedes-Benz Arena?
1 answer
This is awesome! The Mercedes-Benz Arena is one of the very few spots to serve a traditional dish inside the stadium. “Schupfnudeln mit Sauerkraut” which is probably similar to some kind of Gnocchi with.. you know.. German Sauerkraut. Sounds weird, tastes amazing, definitely worth a try! If you’re not brave enough to go for something new, simply have a “Bratwurst”, I always chose red over white (quite cheap, only 2,80€).
Beer is pretty expensive, 4€ for 0.4 litres. But I mean.. well.. we’re in a football stadium, so might as well go for it, right?

The Stuttgart catering isn’t anything that will blow you away, though it does have some fan favourites that you would be disappointed if you didn’t find. There are 31 kiosks that line the concourses that stop queuing being too much of an issue.
At the kiosk’s, you can find much as the same fast food you can anywhere in the country – Sausages, Burgers, Pretzels and Fries. There is of course, lots of beer drunk in the stadium – the fact that you can take it to your seat is a big plus!

Snack concessions are owned by Aramark, a firm that provides food to a fair few of the top stadiums in Germany. That means that it is usually a little bit generic, though in the case of Stuttgart, there is one notable exception. They have their own unique bratwurst created specially for them, which is more than worth trying. Bear in mind that Swabia, the area of Germany of which Stuttgart is the capital, is the most expensive part of the country and you can expect to pay more than in most other stadiums.
