Best Insider tip at Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid?

My tip is quite a simple one – rather than going inside early and getting fleeced €10 for a single pint of beer, and about as much again for half a meal, what you should do is go explore the range of restaurants and bars that surround the arena. They can do you much tastier food and more refined beers for substantially less money. Daylight robbery never fails to put a slight downer on an evening, so just avoid it and arrive at the venue in time for your event, well sated.

My advice to you is to come here at least one hour before the event, especially if it’s your first time in the venue. Take your time to look for your seat (I spent around 15 minutes last time) because sometimes it’s not easy to find the seat. Stands are divided into floors and rows and if you have never been here before, it will be a bit difficult to find the right one!
