One of the unique things about life in Perth is the cooling afternoon sea breeze, locally called the ‘Freo Doctor’. Predominately in the summer months, the Freo Doctor is caused by the difference in land and sea temperatures. Sometimes, the temperature can drop several degrees very quickly and the wind gets up to 15-20 knots. Just something to keep in mind watching cricket at the WACA!
