The Fairgrounds is great place to have your pregame fun. It opens two hours before every game in the center field gates and features live music, specialty food trucks and delicious beers. The Park Tavern is also a great option, with gameday drink specials and outdoor seating. Oddly enough, it doubles as an ice skating rink in the winter. Gordon Beirsch is a good nearby chain restaurant, and Cantina Marina is a little further, but right on the water.

New restaurants like Bluejacket and Nando’s Peri-Peri get quite packed on game days. Bluejacket even brews their own beer. Closer to Union Station, fans can check out Gordon Biersch or have a greasy meal at Five Guys Burgers & Fries, which got its start in DC

Hit up Tingey Street and check out Bluejacket, which has taken on the very popular method of serving their own craft beer. You won’t be disappointed with the food and drink selection. Five Guys Burgers, which got its start in D.C., is also in earshot and probably a familiar for many as it has expanded all across the country
