Boston Beer Works is a locals favorite and gets quite a crowd after the Celtics win. Hurricane o’Reilly’s is a good Irish pub that has that Irish hometown feel. There are also a dozen or more other establishments with an Irish flavor so you have plenty to choose from.

Hurricane O’Reilly’s and the Greatest Bar are the places to be if you’re a boisterous beer drinker looking to Paaaahhhtyyy. Lots of nice places on Hanover for a glass of wine and apps if that is more your style.

Harp is the place to go pre-game. It’s right across the street from the Garden and offers a great atmosphere – there’s always sure to be a crowd. If you’re drinking and grabbing food then you have to try either the Fours or Boston Beer Works. Beer Works is a newer spot that brews all their own beer and Fours is a classic Boston sports bar that is a must visit pre or post game. Both have fantastic bar food. If you want a grimier more authentic Boston experience (and cheaper), check out Sullivan’s Tap.
