I don’t know about you but I think Germany specialises in meat really really well – so I might be a bit bias when I recommend Block House Am Kropcke. But sometimes a steak with all the fixings is just what the doctor ordered. They have a great range here and cook them really well!
For some food that is low on price but high on spice and flavour, you have two great choices. If you want some fantastically fresh food – go to Vietnamese restaurant Street Kitchen. And if you are feeling some Indian – who isn’t – head to Koh-I-Noor. You won’t regret it.

First of all, the arena is pretty close (about 1.5km) to the Hanover city center where you will find numerous good places to have a nice dinner. Nevertheless, if you’re looking for something within very closer walking distance, I can recommend “Restaurant Algarve”. They offer delicious mediterranean kitchen at fair prices. It is only 800 meters away from the stadium. If you want to sit outside and just have more of a snack, you should visit “See Biergarten”, a beer garden right next to the stadium. 0,3 liters of beer are only 2,50€.

The area around the stadium can seem a little bit sparse restaurant wise, but if you go the opposite way from Stadionbrücke station, there are a few decent places to be found. Two Portuguese restaurants in particular are good. Try Algarve on Ricklinger Straße or Coimbra on Charlottenstraße, while further up the same street you can find Canon de Pao, a tapas bar that is locally popular.
