Best restaurants near St. James' Park?

Newcastle FCs own bar is quite something on its own! The food at the NINE Sports Bar & Lounge is actually very high quality and well-presented, and serves food from 10-10 every day! The barmen can whip out tasty cocktails, but all the staples of a sports bar are there too: great beer, darts, pool and football on the TV!
If you want to explore the city centre (remember you’ll already be there!) then there are countless great places within minutes, so have fun.

The cathedral of St James’ Park is right in the city of Newcastle so there are a tonne of places for you to visit for some pre or post match tuck. The Gate area is once again is good destination for food as well as pre match drinks with the first floor dedicated to trusty restaurants such as Nandos, Pizza Hut and Frankie & Benny’s.
If you are feeling something a little more unique – just around the corner from the stadium are two great little places – Red Mezze is a fantastic restaurant with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, whilst El Coto will serve up all the Spanish Tapas that you can handle!
