The 4,800 seats allocated to travelling fans are in the North Stand, which offers a pretty great view of the pitch. The legroom is, unlike many stadiums, more than adequate and makes such a difference for us taller folk – well done Wigan! In terms of price, it varies from game to game: more popular matches (rivalries or playing bigger clubs) cost up to 25% more than the rest. It still only comes to £25 or so, which makes it a pretty cheap venue.

Visiting fans take their seats in the North Stand which has a great view of the pitch! This is also very close to the East Stand where most of Wigan’s vocal supporters tend to sit – making sure that banter between the two sets of fans is always lively.
For the TV style view, you should sit in the West Stand (Springfield) – a ticket here is the most expensive in the ground, but for normal matches you are only looking at £22 a ticket – which really isn’t bad for the Championship!
