Great Answer Salt Lake City and Sandy are two very safe places and there are millions of Mormons and their families attending the games and surrounding areas so on a scale of one to ten this is an 11 on safety.

The security guards at Rio Tinto are very attentive and very visable. They also have Sandy City Police officers onsite.
