Things to check out around Estadio Municipal de Balaidos?

There’s an awful lot going on in the Vigo area, so it’s really up to your preferences! My recommendation would be a trip to the beach, Playa Samil, because I love the beach. There is gorgeous white sand and clean, blue water, though it’s two miles from the venue – a reasonable walk. A more local option would be either getting the adrenaline going (or reliving the match) at the AD Sports Bar, or relaxing at the Parque de Castrelos which is just a few minutes’ walk away.

The stadium is not very close to the city centre, but it’s not a problem since you can take the public transport! In spite of being an industrial city, Vigo has also seaside and several things to visit. “Oysters street” is maybe the main attraction in the city. It’s an interesting place to see how workers do their job and also to try this tasty seafood with a glass of white wine! If the weather is good, go to Samil beach. From here you can see Cíes island.
