If you’re visiting Edinburgh, you’d be a fool not to make time for the medieval Old Town. This World Heritage Site boasts the Royal Mile (a famous stretch of pedestrian pavement with shops all around), the castle and the Royal Museum of Scotland. You could spend hours at any one of these, but if you stay for an extra day or so, you can really begin to appreciate the history of Scotland’s capital city. Get your comfortable shoes on and go exploring!

The place to see in Edinburgh has to be the historic Old Town. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has so many amazing things to see including Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and the Royal Museum of Scotland! If you get bored of taking pictures – why not take a spooky ghost tour and get to know the darker history of this wonderful city. Otherwise why not take a little, alright not so little, hike up to Arthurs Seat and get an unbelievable view of the city.
