At full capacity, the fans number just under half the population of the city, so it’s safe to say that they are a passionate group. Frankly, the level of local support for this team is insane! They love the boys in yellow, and you’ll not usually notice a single lapse in the fans’ singing, chanting and jeering (things have to go wrong sometimes..) throughout the game. For all their fierce competitiveness, the Villareal fans are really nice and should be quite welcoming if you find yourselves side-by-side in the pub before or after a match.

The stadium rarely sells out tickets, what it means it is quiet most of the times. Of course, if Villarreal CF plays against Club Deportivo Castellón or Valencia CF you will see the stadium full of people!
