Home to Sassuolo since their promotion to the Italian top flight in the 2013/14 season and AC Reggiana since its conception in 1995, the Stadio is growing in international renown – playing host to the 2016 Women’s Champions League Final. It does have a while to go to catch some of its more established and glamorous contemporaries. The attempts to make the surrounding area nicer has made an impact on the stadium, with the North and South Stands not running from side-line to side-line giving off a disjointed feel.
