What to expect from the Richmond International Raceway crowd?

You will find multiple generations and people of all ages here in spite of being located right in the middle of several colleges.  The fans are insanely devoted and passionate about NASCAR and rarely miss a race, if ever.  They are welcoming and kind.  Very family friendly atmosphere so it’s a great venue to bring the kids.  There’s also a lot of “bonding” over tailgating which is literally everywhere surrounding the facility.
