There are enough things to do in Rome to keep you busy for a few weeks, let alone a few days while watching the Tennis, however when you do get time to visit this incredible city – you will be awed by its history and magnificence. The Roman Forum dates back to 500BC and is a fantastic ‘must see’.
Add the Colosseum and the Parthenon to that list! Also, whether you are religious or not – the art and aura that surrounds the Vatican and St Peters Basicalla are worth checking out.
If battling tourists has worn you out – hop over the Tiber to the Trastevere district and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere.
