What to expect from the Foro Italico - Campo Centrale crowd?

The crowds that come to watch the tennis are among the friendliest and welcoming in the world of sport. Around the club, you will see hundreds of people milling about, enjoying the Roman sun, having picnics, indulging in a glass of wine or cheering the players on.
Inside the courts themselves, there is a ‘proper’ way of conducting yourself however. Fans make a lot of noise with cheers and small chants, even Mexican waves, however when the umpire asks for quiet – fans must quieten down or risk being asked to leave the court.
Shouts of encouragement are welcomed though by the players and the other fans!
