What to expect from the New York Stadium crowd?

Friendliness and a good atmosphere. The Rotherham fans only ever have one thing on their mind: enjoying the football and egging on their favourite 11! There’s none of the “don’t wear your colours” concerns, and if it’s a big team (in the FA cup perhaps) then it’ll only make for a more exciting atmosphere! The crowd is allowed to filter outside for a smoke at half-time, which is a pretty nice touch and help keep people smiling!

The New York stadium isn’t the biggest ground in the country – but don’t mistake it’s size as being representative of the crowds passion for the game. In fact, the smaller ground works in the atmosphere’s favor! Some of the stands are fairly steep, and thus keeps you close to the action – and everyone there is a real Rotherham fan – which means they really do care about their team and will do anything to get them a win!

In spite of this charged atmosphere – Rotherham FC pride themselves of being a friendly and approachable club – its a great day out.
