Good Answer The security around the arena is usually provided by the Salt Lake Police Department. I have attended several events at Vivint Smart Home Arena and have never been concerned about my personal safety.

Salt Lake City has had an increase in homeless people recently but it is still really safe, especially by the stadium and Gateway outdoor mall.
