The stadium is located close to downtown so there is a lot of traffic but the police do a pretty good job getting people out of the garages and parking lots in a timely manner. If there is nothing else going on then things aren’t bad but if there is a play, musical, baseball game then traffic gets worse.

When in doubt if the Sounder train is operating use that and avoid the hassle of trying to park somewhere near Century Link Field. But if you do drive and don’t mind the walk you can get decent parking rates for around 20 bucks which is a steal for Seattle standards.
