Things to check out around Rhein-Neckar-Arena?

There are many talented players that have played for this small club over the years – Roberto Firminho and Demba Ba are just a couple. And the club is offering a chance to go behind the scenes and walk in these two player’s footsteps! For just €5 you can go on a stadium tour and visit areas that are normally off limits to the public before walking down the tunnel and getting to pitchside!

The stadium is actually close to two pretty cool things to do before a match. First, there is the Automobile & Technology Museum. Probably the best thing to see if you’re in Sinsheim early or a bit interested in these subjects.
Second, there’s a huge thermal spring right next to the stadium which might be a nice option for the entire family before any given home game of TSG Hoffenheim.

There is basically nothing here except the stadium. Sinsheim is barely more than a village and almost the whole population could fit into the Rhein-Neckar-Arena. The best advice is to minimise the amount of time spent in the town and instead head to Heidelberg, which is very close and beautiful, the German equivalent of Oxford or Cambridge, with mediaeval buildings and a vibrant student population.
