Best Food and Drink at St Mary's Stadium?

There’s no real “best food and drink” at St Mary’s, there’s just “the food and drink”. To the delight of many football fans (and the despair of many others) there’s nothing special about the fare here: pies, pasties, burgers and hot dogs within the usual £3.50-4.00 range, or thereabouts. You can get cheap lager inside, or delicious lager in any number of pubs within walking distance either side of the match. If you’re after advice, save pennies for the latter!

Southampton are doing quite a lot to make their food and drink stand out from the crowd – especially using a lot of local ingredients.

They have a new burger on the concourse that they are especially proud of – with the beef being raised just 4 miles from St Mary’s!

There is also a lot of local beers and Ales for around £4 a pint. The lager at the stadium has also undergone a new age transformation. Southampton FC are very proud of there ‘fast pour’ system – which pours a pint of beer in 3 seconds! This helps to reduce que times and keeps everyone happy!
