Just a few minutes’ walk from the venue is one of my favourite places on Earth: an escape room! The Escape Game has three different rooms, of varying difficulty, where each has its own theme. The structure is the same: solve clues which will eventually lead you to the keys for the room, and escape before the timer runs out and you’re trapped forever!*

*Okay, not really, but it does get quite tense. Really great fun for any age, but limited to groups of 4 I think.

Swansea and the surrounding areas are home to some striking stretches of coastline and sometimes there is nothing better than a walk on the beach after a game – if it’s in summer you might even be brave and go for a quick swim!

Otherwise there are some fantastic castle ruins to see such as Oystermouth Castle and Park – or if you are feeling a little more adventurous, why got gather up your friends and strap in at Skidz Karting!
