How do I get to Silverstone Circuit?

Silverstone is pretty much out in the sticks, so driving is your best bet. There is street park for a while around the venue, so if you arrive in good time you shouldn’t have too much hassle finding a spot.

Otherwise, you can get the train to Milton Keynes station and hop in a taxi from there. The price won’t be too bad if you can share it with some other fans, but there aren’t many other options.

There are several options for getting to Silverstone – driving is probably the easiest way to get to the circuit – when you get there, parking really depends on your budget. You can purchase a permit to park at the track, or park at the ‘Park and Ride’ at nearby Sixfields Stadium. If you are camping though, parking is included in the price!

If you are coming in by train, head to either Milton Keynes Central or Northampton Station – both of these offer a shuttle bus service that will take you to the track.

My tip – don’t take a taxi. They need a permit to enter the race track (which they won’t have) so they’ll drop you off at the gate and you’ll have to walk a while. Also, because the roads leading up to the track become very congested – the fare could be through the roof.
