The Fortress, as it is affectionately known by some fans, has a history dating back hundreds of years, long before it became home of the popular Premier League side Fulham FC. Situated just outside the heart of London city centre, the venue is one of the most accessible in the country. The Cottage is known for its friendly, buzzing atmosphere, as well as unusually good food! If you’re a football fan who’s just passing by on your travels, this is one stadium you’re not going to want to skip.

As one of the smallest home grounds in the Premier league with just over 25,000 seats, there are some restricted seats, particularly in the Grade 2 listed Johnny Haynes stand it makes for an excellent and notoriously noisy atmosphere for home and away fans. With a family area, baby changing facilities and plenty of disabled access it is definitely an option for the whole family and with walks along the riverfront to get there it is one of the few London stadiums where you don’t mind the walk.
