Post-game traffic is absolutely terrible so taking the metro is king. You’re going to get crowds with the metro but it definitely beats being stuck in traffic and having a homeless dude bang on the window of your dad’s car when you’re 11 and stopping for a post game celebratory milkshake at McDonalds. Like I told you you’re safe in DC. It happened back when D.C. was sketchy

The underground parking lots will be frustrating and claustrophobic. The metro will be packed. My advice is go with pregame apps and a postgame meal in Chinatown. When your done, you’ll have no problem driving or riding out of town.

Traffic isn’t as bad as you would think but going over the 14th Street Bridge might cause problems on some days. The Metro is by far the way to go.
