How do I get to DW Stadium?

DW does its best to cater to away fans (something we very much appreciate!) and offers a car park specifically for them. It’s £5 for your car (or motorbike, sadly) but it puts you right next to the stadium, so there’s no question it’s worth it. Try to get there nice and early (a few hours before kick-off, easily) to get a space near the exit; parking near the back (or even the middle) could leave you stuck for a long time post-match.

The train stations are about 20 minutes’ walk from the DW, but the 621 bus will take you from Wallgate to the Red Robin, a pub right by the stadium!

If you are coming by car and you are an away fan, be sure to park in Car Park 1. Home and Neutral supporters should park in car parks 3 and 4. Parking prices really aren’t bad, at £5 for a bike or a car and £10 for a minibus.

Wigan Wallgate station is around a 15 minute walk away – it will be around a £7 cab ride, or just hop on the number 621 that will take to to the Red Robin pub.

Another more unique way of getting to the stadium is via canal – sail down to the DW, moor up and get to the game like no other punter!
