Wolfsburg are no different when it comes to buying food and drink in the concourses. The stadium operates on a cashless system, that although annoying to set up, does mean that queues are reducing at the 16 kiosks and 12 bars around the ground. The VFL Card is available around the ground – you will have to put down a €10 deposit however and the card has to have at least €5 on it. Don’t worry though – you can get whatever balance is left on your card back at the end of the day.

The Wolfsburg Arena is the perfect place to go and see a Bundesliga match with your children. Not only do they have special prices for the entire family. They also have a separated family stand which even contains a little playground for the youngsters. The perfect location to get your children into the world of football, maybe the first and most unforgettable football experience of their lives.

Above the standing section behind the Nordkurve is a “singing section”, which is a part of the seated area in which standing is allowed and indeed encouraged. Given that a ticket in with the ultras is nearly impossible to get hold of, this is probably the best bet in terms of experiencing both a top level football match and also a properly involving atmosphere. No away colours, obviously.
