Wolverhampton is a pretty quiet town, so it really depends what you’re in to! The Banks’ Park Brewery has a great selection of beers (of course), nice food and really interesting, well-led tours. The Grand Theatre puts on incredible shows, if you’re able to plan your trip in advance. Equally cultured, but perhaps a little more niche, is the Wolverhampton Art Gallery; it blends modern and historical pieces well, and never puts up a dull display.

Wolverhampton is home to some great historical houses, manors and gardens – so if you are looking to calm you down after a frantic game at Molineux, head to one of either Wightwick Manor, Mosely Old Hall or Bantock House – all are excellent.

However, if the game has got your adrenaline pumping then head over to Wolverhampton’s escape room – with an hour to solve the puzzles and get out – can you do it on time?!
