European football competitions are scattered across the continent and matches are played from August until May.
Countries have a league competition (for example, the Premier League) as well as an annual club knockout competition (such as the FA cup). We’ve summarised these for some of the most popular European destinations below.

England: Premier League and FA Cup
Premier League matches are played from August until May, with the fixtures announced in mid-June. FA Cup matches are played from August to May, with fixtures announced in July.

Spain: La Liga and Copa Del Rey
La Liga matches are played from August until May, with the fixtures announced in July. Copa Del Rey matches are played from September to May.
