What to expect from the Stadion Letzigrund crowd?

If you are going to watch the game from the Fan Kurve, go expecting a raucous atmosphere and you will have a great time. From the moment the ball is kicked, the fans are on their feet with chants and blue language ringing the air. They have been known to get carried away however with flare and firecrackers occasionally being thrown onto the pitch. If you are there with a family – this stand probably isn’t the best option for you.

Historically, FC Zurich is the most successful team in Switzerland having won the league many times, but in recent years it has been the likes of FC Basel and BSC Young Boys that have dominated proceedings.

This hasn’t stopped the passionate fan base from filling out the stadium for any and all fixtures, no matter who the opposition may be. They are very welcoming to away fans and enjoy the camaraderie both before and after the fixtures.
