Although there are many smaller, privately owned parking lots up and down Rout 1, the best place to park is at the Gillette Stadium parking lot. It costs more then the small lots, typically $40 per car, but it’s worth it. The tailgate scene alone makes it worth the price. Plus you’re already on the Gillette Stadium property, which means it takes far less time to get to your seat.

Parking is abundant along Route 1 in Foxborough. The best tailgating can be found in the team-owned lots at Patriot Place and directly across from the stadium. These lots can get very pricey, so I would recommend parking in a 3rd party lot a little further from the stadium, if the weather is okay and you don’t mind a slightly longer walk.

Parking is around $45 right next to the stadium but you get to tailgate with all the other die hard Patriot fans. There is also plenty of parking around Route 1 where it is cheaper but kind of far away.

The Gillette Stadium lot gets filled quickly and is a little pricey. There are tons of alternative parking options along Route 1, and prices range depending on the popularity of the game, usually somewhere between $30-$45. Fans are tailgating everywhere in the various lots, so it’s nice to get up and park a few hours before the game. I recommend parking in a lot about a mile from the stadium if you don’t mind a little walking. It’s usually a little cheaper and if you start walking to the stadium about an hour before the game starts, you’ll have time to get in and to your seat before kickoff. If you leave the stadium with a few minutes left in the last quarter (if it’s not a close game), you can get a head start back to the car and get out before the traffic starts building up.
