Welsh-Ryan Arena is a charming old barn of a gym and happens to be the second oldest arena in the Big Ten Conference. Not big on amenities but worth a look see. The arena is located right next to Ryan Field, home of the Northwestern Wildcats football team. The Northwestern pep band is super fun and a not to miss experience. If you want a college sports total experience – this is the venue for you. Supportive, cheering, passionate fans and lots of audience interaction before, during, and after the game!
