A cool thing they serve during the cold months (December – February) is German “Glühwein”, you should definitely try it if they have it. Beer prices are a bit higher than the average at 3,90€ for half a liter – still okay though, in my opinion. The variety of food they offer is rather great, different kinds of “Bratwurst”, “Currywurst”, “Schnitzel” and fries are the items you can hope for. However, food is a bit pricey with a Bratwurst being 2,90€ and Currywurst with fries being 5,80€. I still recommend the traditional Bratwurst since we’re in a German stadium, right?

Although the BayArena was famous for having the first ever internal McDonalds actually inside the stadium. However, unfortunately for Big Mac lovers, the closest McDonalds now is just across the street. There is the usual food and drinks on sale inside the stadium – think Sausages, Salted Pretzels and Beer!
Remember though – it is an all cashless stadium though!

Leverkusen are a staple of the Bundesliga, not really that brilliant and never that bad. Their beer selection is the same as FC Köln’s, which means Gaffel for a bit of local flavour – Kölsch beer is unique to Cologne – and Bitberger for those wanting a generic pint. At €4 a throw, you can’t really go wrong. Aside from that, it’s the usual bratwurst, bretzel and pizza fare.
