With the city Bamberg being a student city, there are numerous discounts available for younger people. This includes options like a match ticket plus some food and drink vouchers, all that for only 10€. They are really concerned about their young support and never let them down. That’s why I love going to the venue, everything is super familial and friendly.
The basketball team is numerous national champion and the city already knows how to celebrate these super important events. The mayor will even repeal closing hours in case they win the championship and the biggest party of the year will take place in the entire city. When you ask for a sausage, you might be in for a small surprise. While the rest of Germany loves the bratwurst, Franconia (the area of Bavaria around Bamberg) have their own style with plenty of marjoram and a totally different grind to the meat, and so a different texture. You’ll get it with a sauerkraut salad instead of mustard too, though if you can stand the looks of disapproval from locals, feel free to add some of the yellow stuff.
