Payment for food and drinks at the stadium is by a cashless smartcard – the FCA-Card. You can get these on the day from around the ground at a lot of different kiosks and at the club’s shop. You have to put a minimum of 120 onto the card that includes a deposit. Don’t worry though, the €3 and any remaining credit can be refunded from any sales point after the match so don’t feel you have to spend all of the balance at once.

Augsburg is the second oldest city in Germany and can date its foundation back to the Romans. Thus, the ultras are known as Legio Augusta, the Augsburg Legion. Even if you don’t speak German, you can join in with their songs: 90% of them include extended periods of ole ole ole-ing, la la la-ing and the like, perfect for travelling fans who struggle with the notoriously difficult Bavarian dialect.
