Home fans will find a warm welcome at any of the pubs on St Mary’s Street, as that’s where many locals get their water before kick-off. For the away crowd, your options are more limited (there isn’t much at all actually next to the stadium) but can probably get space in one of the bars in the shopping centre or thereabouts. It’s a bit of a guessing game, as even the Wetherspoons has been known to switch sides!

There aren’t a whole lot of options – especially for away fans near the stadium itself – though that doesn’t mean there isn’t anywhere to get a drink in Southampton!
A lot of away fans recommend the King Alfred which is on Northam Road. Nearby that there is The Waterfront on William Street as well as the ever popular Shamrock Quay. In the city center itself there is a Yates, Wetherspoons and Slug & Lettuce – all welcoming to away fans!
