There’s actually a very classy and plush Millennium Hotel on the stadium grounds which features its own fine restaurant called Le Café. It’s a gorgeous cream + hardwood interior, with a full wall of bay windows allowing light in the daytime, and atmosphere for an evening meal. Suitable for a pre-match brunch or post game wine-and-dine, it is a bit pricier than your standard restaurant, but the quality and convenience offset the extra spend.

Most of Readings best restaurants are a couple of miles away from the Madejski, however there are some places nearby. There is a Pizza Hut pretty much next door to the stadium if you are looking for something a bit more family friendly. Or there is a great Italian – Wolf Italian Street Food; that serves great, tasty food.
If you do venture a bit further into town – make a reservation at CAU – because who doesn’t love an Argentinian Steakhouse. Or London Street Brasserie. Both awesome places, that will need you to book a table on a Saturday night.
