The 02 Arena is surrounded by a multitude of restaurants that really cater for all tastes and wallet sizes. There are notably no fast food outlets in The Avenue, as the designers wanted the area to have a Covent Garden feel instead of looking like another shopping center.
There are over 20 restaurants to choose from. If you fancy a burger, you have a choice of ‘Byrons Burgers, The Gourmet Burger Company and Five Guys;. If you have a craving for Asian food, then you are spoiled for choice with ‘Busaba Eathai’ ‘Wasabi’ and ‘Water Margin’; or if South American cuisine and steaks tickle your fancy then look no further than ‘Gaucho’, ‘Rodizio Rico’ or ‘Cabana’.

Because there’s a tonne of restaurants and bars within the complex, the ‘best’ option really just depends on your taste. If you’re going all out, maybe reserve a spot at Gaucho, the glitz-and-glam restaurant and its cocktail lounge. Spent all your cash on the big event? Maybe TGI Fridays is the answer; they always serve quality food, great drinks and don’t charge you through the nose. Well, not relative to most London prices anyway!
