How do I get to King Power Stadium?
1 answer
The public transport journey is totally manageable, but if the weather is particularly unruly then you might want to hop in a taxi! If not, it’s a simple 15-minute walk from Leicester Railway Station to the stadium, and you can follow the crowd to avoid getting lost!
For the drivers looking for a bit of advice, you have 3 choices:
-park about 20+ minutes’ walk from the stadium, will cost a few £s.
-park at the stadium, but be prepared to wait up to an hour getting away again, if you’re unlucky.
-park at the stadium, and grab a drink or bite to eat after the game before heading off, to beat the mad traffic.

The King Power is a little far from the Leicester Station – and while it’s a 20 minute walk, many fans prefer the 5 minute taxi ride which should cost you no more than £5.
There are some options for parking at the stadium itself, though it isn’t the cheapest. You can park in the Filbert Street car park though it will cost you £16 for the day – and prebooking online is essential.
A cheaper way is to park in the Freemans Common Business Park and walk – a parking spot will cost £4 and all the money goes to the Multiple Sclerosis Therepy Center. Cheap parking and a fantastic cause.
