Because of the location of the club, attendees are strongly advised to use public transport because of the difficult road links and congestion occurs, especially during high profile games and matches (also parking can be a bit of a nightmare too.

The nearest tube stations are; Wimbledon which is a 20 minute walk to the club, or Southfields which is a 15 minute walk and these are easily accessible if you are coming from London city center by jumping on the westbound District Line. If you prefer to use the overground train you can get a regular service from London Waterloo to Wimbledon station as well. For those travelling regionally or nationally, Wimbledon is a regular stop on many destinations towards Bournemouth, Southampton, Havant, Andover, Exeter and Portsmouth which makes it easier to travel from outside London.

Taxi services are quite popular from outside Southfields and Wimbledon stations and a taxi shuttle option is available straight to the club itself and it helps to split the costs as well. For larger groups there is also a bus shuttle service that is available from the main stations on matchdays. If you need to take a bus then you should look for the 493 from either station which is a 5-10 minute journey.

During championship games, a park and ride option is available at Morden Park and costs £15 for cars and £20 for minibuses but avoids the congestion issue.

With Wimbledon being a suburb of London, there are plenty of public transport options that people use to get to the Championships. Use the tube to get to Southfields Station on the District line, then take a 15 minute walk. Or go to Wimbledon station – a 20 minute walk from the stadium. Both of these stations are in Zone 3, with a single costing £4.90, get an all day pass for £12.10.

Trains run from London Waterloo to Wimbledon Station for £4.30 single or £7.30 return ticket.

Also during the Championships, there are coach services that run from Central London – £15 for adults and £10 for concessions return ticket.
