Safety at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum ?

There are metal detectors.  Lots of them.  Just be patient, plan ahead time-wise accordingly, mentally prepare for this inevitability, and you’ll eventually make it to your seat.  You’ll see some interesting characters outside of the Coliseum, but there’s also a ton of security guards, so everything is cool.  It’s not as scary as some have made it seem at all, particularly when it comes to Raider games.
