Safety is fine at the games. Guests using foul or abusive language, appearing intoxicated or otherwise displaying rowdy or inconsiderate behavior are subject to ejection. All you have to do is text their private messaging system or the nearest usher to report such behavior.

Don’t walk around alone in the SAP Center neighborhood at night! Walk with a group and stay alert. If you have a vehicle, lock it and stow belongings out of sight in the trunk.
