Downtown Salt Lake has the Mormon temple which has a visitors center and beautiful grounds. If you go during the winter holidays there are also lights everywhere. The beautiful Wasatch mountains are also there and pretty easy to access. Jordan Commons has a lot of shopping and restaurants and then there is the University of Utah and BYU schools to look at.

Jordan Commons is across the street and has everything. The Sandy Amphitheater is up the street and has a lot of great concerts, events and plays. Also, the Southtowne Mall is down the street along with a DSW and a Nordstrom Rack.
