Chelsea offer lots of pre and post match entertainment options for guests to Stamford Bridge, ensuring that your day is as memorable as possible! Dealing with a loss, or celebrating a Chelsea win can be a stressful experience, which is why Stamford Bridge has a built in day spa, open on match days and offering a whole range of treatments.

Stamford Bridge is also home to the Chelsea museum, with all kinds of exhibits documenting Chelsea’s rise and all its achievements with trophy’s, medals, shirts of players past and present, as well as large video screens documenting Chelsea’s finest moments.

Stamford Bridge does offer stadium tours, however these do not run on match days. Instead Chelsea offer a a 20-minute stadium viewing, with a 20 minute talk and a photo opportunity in the Matthew Harding Stand. Non Match day tours start at £19 for an adult and £14 for a concession. Chelsea also offers tours led by former Chelsea legends, which include photo opportunities and a Q and A session. Prices for this start at £80.

Stamford Bridge organize an hour-long tour that allows you access behind the scenes to normally restricted areas such as the dugouts, tunnel, dressing rooms (for home and away players), press room and visiting stands within the stadium itself. Also included in the tour is entry to the museum which allows you to see the evolution of Chelsea FC both on and off the pitch as a club. The tours are operated by a guide usually and cost around £19 for adults and £13 for children (plus there are concession prices for senior citizens, students and those with disabilities with a carer). You should always book in advance otherwise it costs an extra £2-£3 on the day.

Tips: booking on the phone costs an extra £2.50 too so just do it online for the best price

Alternatively, there is an “Ex-player tour” that costs £80 per person but not only includes the tour and museum but also autograph opportunities, Q&A sessions, guidebook and free trophy photo as a memento of the day. You can expect options such as Clive Walker or Ron Harris to lead the tour as they are the current guides although this is subject to change.

For those looking for a more VIP experience there are also Platinum tours that include lunch and are in smaller groups to allow more questions and personal time and these are £45-£55 per person. You can also access just the museum only for £9-£11 to take a look at some Chelsea history if that is what you prefer however the price is included in the usual tour fee anyway.

Many clubs offer a decent tour, but not everywhere has a museum dedicated to the club as part of it! The Stamford Bridge stadium tour is great. You get to see the dressing rooms, dugouts, the tunnel, the press room and more. Once the tour is over, you’re free to explore the museum as you wish and learn all about the club’s history, from their grass root beginnings in 1905 to their most recent successes!
